Ener.co: The winner for the NBC Innovation & Sustainability for startups and SME’s

The Netherlands Business Council UAE is pleased to announce the winner of the Innovation & Sustainability Award for startups and SMEs. This prestigious award goes to Ener.co, which is recognized for its innovative and sustainable solutions in energy efficiency for cooling systems.

Out of the three nominees, Hydraloop, Ener.co, and Fclt.e, Ener.co stood out for its groundbreaking work in energy efficiency. The jury members, including Hjalmar Mulder (Chair Dutch Sustainability Group), Kenza Tarqaat  (Deputy Consul General and Head of Economic Affairs at the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the United Arab Emirates) and Omar Khan (Head of Centre for Business Studies & Research at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce), were impressed by Ener.co’s business case, which focuses on reducing power demand for cooling systems through the use of proprietary technology such as graphene-polymer nano-coating.

Quincy Shothorst, th General Manager of Ener.co, was invited to the stage to receive the award and deliver a one-minute pitch on their innovative solutions. The jury emphasized the importance of Ener.co’s impact on reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the UAE, as well as the extension of equipment lifespan which leads to less waste.
