NBC Welcomes New Chair and Board Members Following 2026 AGM

At the NBC Annual General Assembly held on 30 March 2026 at Zabeel House by Jumeirah, The Greens, members elected a new Chair and two new board members, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for the Netherlands Business Council UAE.

Linda Negerman was elected as the new Chair of the NBC. Linda brings with her a strong background in business and a deep connection to the Dutch community in the UAE. The board and team look forward to her leadership as NBC continues to grow and serve its members.

Joining the board alongside Linda are two newly elected members. Husam Abdel Atty, Founder and Managing Director of Atty and Partners LLC, and Damian Strauss, General Manager of UAE Cargocare, both bring valuable expertise and fresh perspectives that will strengthen the council in the years ahead.

The AGM was also an opportunity to express sincere gratitude to outgoing Chair Rita Al Semaani Jansen, who served with dedication and helped shape NBC into the community it is today. Rita steps down after years of committed leadership and remains a valued member of the NBC family.

The evening continued with a networking reception, bringing together members, the newly elected board, and Consul General Paul Ymkers, who attended as a guest of honour.

NBC enters this new period with energy, continuity, and a board that reflects the diversity and ambition of our community. We thank all members who participated in the vote and look forward to what lies ahead together.
