On 15 April 2026, NBC hosted an evening of open conversations, community, and connection at Paramount Hotel Midtown, Dubai. Members came together to share challenges, show resilience, and support one another, joined by Consul General Paul Ymkers and the team from the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Dubai.

At the NBC Annual General Assembly on 30 March 2026, members elected Linda Negerman as the new Chair, alongside new board members Husam Abdel Atty and Damian Strauss. NBC thanks outgoing Chair Rita Al Semaani Jansen for her years of dedicated leadership and looks forward to this new chapter.

The Netherlands Business Council UAE recently held its first-ever Economic Impact Awards to recognize Dutch companies making significant contributions to the UAE economy. The winner of the Award is Godfried Van Oord, Regional Director of Van Oord, who was presented with the prestigious award during a gala ceremony.
